per adult Price is Rp531.848

Acquaint yourself with a different side of Bangkok by drifting through its meandering canals and the Chao Phraya River. Float past waterside markets and dwellings, soaking up the local culture and scenery.

After your hotel pick-up, begin your afternoon tour and experience a less-touristy Bangkok along its many waterways. Board a long-tailed speedboat and pass through narrow canals (known as khlongs) alongside which locals live, work and play, creating a thriving waterside culture. Learn about Bangkok's history and the pivotal role of the Chao Phraya River and canals of Thonburi.

View the many canal temples, old wooden homes and vibrant markets selling local farm produce and handicrafts. Next, embark on a converted rice barge for a cruise down the grand Chao Phraya River. Watch as the sights of Bangkok slowly pass by, including the opulent Grand Palace and famous Temple of Dawn.

Aboard the barge, enjoy a complimentary selection of fresh tropical fruits, cocktails and soft drinks as you take in the interesting sights.

4.5 out of 5

The views of the city were good from the boat. However, the speedboat and rice barge engines were extremely loud and the diesel fumes were irritating. The guide used a loud speaker to talk over the engine noise but we couldn’t understand anything. The fruit buffet on the rice barge was nothing special and we were charged extra for drinks other than water.

The first boat was quite large but on similar passing boats, I did not see a long tail. I have no issue with that since I had two rides in smaller such boats. The time on the rice barge was quite nice. The fruit in the picture is quite similar to what we were served--delicious.
