My reservation was cancelled without any notification! I happened to call one week early to check on something, and found out that the inn was closed! When I finally got in touch with someone, they said they couldn't get in touch with me because they didn't have my phone number or email address. HELLO??

Plymouth House Mother Lode Highland Games Weekend

Posted 11-Jun-2018 on Hotels
I was there for the Mother Lode Highland Games which was only 2-minutes from the Plymouth House. I enjoyed the breakfast very much, so I talked my wife into coming up for one day to check out the Plymouth House and enjoy the breakfast. Sandra, the proprietor, was very nice and welcoming. We missed the Wine social, on the second night only because we were at the Massed Bands at the Amador County Fairgrounds, but I was there on the first night and that was also a nice perk.

OK

With few choices in the area when events are taking place I would say it was just OK>

Quite Charming

Posted 19-Mar-2018 on Expedia
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Breakfast could be served a tad bit earlier - which would make it all the more wonderful.
Location: Plymouth House Inn is the epicenter of the Amador Wine County - and a short jaunt to Reno if your end destination.
Beautiful home, great experience, wonderful breakfast, onvenient location - all provided to make this a great stay!

Thank you for your great review. We are sure happy that you enjoyed your stay. If you would like an earlier breakfast, please advise at check-in and we will be able to provide you something at your door with your coffee instead of our 9 AM breakfast. We hope you’ll come back and see you soon. Cheers!,

We stayed at this lovely bed. And breakfast for 2 nights while visiting the wine country inAmador county. The inn is a great historic home in old Plymouth.

Quick Trip

Posted 24-Oct-2017 on Hotels
Quaint B&B in Plymouth close to the wine tasting area. We arrived somewhat late but Sandra was very accommodating - she even left us a note with our room information in case she didn't see us when we arrived. The room was nice and comfortable with plenty of room for our belongings. The bathroom was understandably small but nice and clean. We were too late for the wine and cheese hour and had to leave before breakfast but there was coffee waiting outside our door just after 7am. My husband wasn't sure about staying in a B&B but he loved it! We will definitely stay here again when we have the time to relax and enjoy the amenities!

Cozy with awesome breakfast

Posted 06-Jun-2017 on Expedia
Pros: the features of the house history, its cozy environment and the breakfast
Cons: can start breakfast a little earlier, say 8am
Location: There are a lot of wineries within 5 miles from the B&B, a good surprise to us.
we booked the B&B last minute at very late time and were welcomed warmly when arrived. it is an old house with a lot of characteristics featuring the history. The breakfast was awesome except that it started at 9am (a little late to us).
